From its birth in San Francisco's swanky Bruno's nightclub, the 9-piece Orchestra Nostalgico has received rave reviews for its blend of faithful and eclectic interpretations lovingly drawn from the Golden Age of film music.

The Orchestra was originally commissioned to bring the classic cinematic compositions of Nino Rota–from Fellini's La Dolce Vita, 8 1/2, Amarcord, as well as Coppola's Godfather trilogy–to the eager ears of San Francisco's young hipsters. The swingin' spy music of John Barry (James Bond films), a medley of music by Ennio Morricone and original compositions by the Orchestra's members fill out the repertoire.
