Laina Adler

LAINA ADLER has worked as both a publicist and marketer since joining HarperOne in 2002, contributing to the success of such New York Times bestsellers as Love Wins by Rob Bell, Buddha by Deepak Chopra, The Art of Power by Thich Nhat Hanh, Eat to Live Cookbook by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, and perennial bestsellers The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and the books of C. S. Lewis. Additionally, Laina leads the effort to enhance the discoverability of HarperOne’s thousand-title-strong backlist through promotions. Prior to joining HarperOne, she was a senior publicist at Chronicle Books.

Laina was named Associate Publisher in 2015 and manages HarperOne’s publicity, marketing, and design teams. She loves collaborating on the many phases of a book’s life—from helping acquire HarperOne authors to participating in the cover design process, overseeing campaigns, and working with sales reps and inventory teams. Recent successes include collaborating on various aspects of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, Hashimoto's Protocol by Izabella Wentz, Unfu*k Yourself by Gary John Bishop, and The Study Quran.
