Heather Bourbeau and Raman Osman

Heather Bourbeau and Raman Osman work where music and poetry meet. They were featured at “3+3: A Collaboration Between 3 Poets and 3 Musicians” and “Words and Music,” a benefit for UNICEF Syria. Heather Bourbeau’s fiction and poetry have been published in 100 Word Story, Alaska Quarterly Review, Cleaver, Eleven Eleven, and America, We Call Your Name: Poems of Resistance and Resilience. She has worked with various UN agencies, including the UN peacekeeping mission in Liberia and UNICEF Somalia. Raman Osman is Kurdish composer and master tembûr (saz) musician from Al-Hasaka, Syria. He has performed at a variety of venues, including the Damascus Opera House and universities in Syria.
